Nathan Nnamdi Ugochukwu Benjam Asigboro Ofoborh

Ofoborh's career pivoted on a routine set of medical tests. Having agreed a four-year contract with Rangers in February 2021, he arrived in Glasgow that summer only to be diagnosed with myocarditis, a swelling of the heart muscle. He underwent two operations over the following three years, including the fitting of a defibrillator, and never made a single appearance for the club. The contract was ended by mutual agreement in 2023.

Before that, his path had run through the conventional stages. He came through Millwall's youth ranks before moving to Bournemouth, where he signed his first professional contract in July 2017 and made three senior appearances. Loan spells at Wycombe Wanderers proved the most productive stretch of his early career: he scored his first professional goal against Milton Keynes Dons in November 2019, a strike later voted Wycombe's Goal of the Season, and was part of the side that won the League One play-off final against Oxford United the following year.

Ofoborh returned to regular first-team football with Swindon Town in March 2024, making 41 appearances and scoring twice, before signing for Barnet on a free transfer in July 2025.

Ofoborh chose to represent Nigeria rather than England. He scored twice in three appearances for Nigeria's under-20s at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland, having made his debut at that level against Egypt the previous year.
