Adriano Esposito

Esposito's second senior club stopped existing beneath him. He had signed for Pro Piacenza 1919 in 2018; in February 2019 the club was excluded from the league, and he found one at US Recanatese, where he stayed until August 2020.

The route in had been conventional enough. Born in Naples, he came through the Reggiana youth sector before his senior debut, then took his first senior football at L'Aquila 1927 in 2016 and stayed two years, making 51 appearances in Serie D.

What followed Piacenza was a run of short stays, none of them lasting a full calendar year. Fermana FC took him in August 2020 and he left the following January for FC Pro Vercelli 1892; by September 2021 he was at US Folgore Caratese, and from July 2022 at Calcio Desenzano for a single season. Every one of those moves is recorded as a free transfer or a release. No club has ever paid a fee for him.

That pattern has since broken. Ravenna renewed his contract in July 2025, and in March 2026 the club announced an extension running to 30 June 2028 — a commitment on paper of a length nothing in the preceding seven years had offered him.

He has never been called up by Italy at any level, senior or youth.
