About the player
Ravenna signed Giacomo Venturi in July 2026 on a free transfer. His contract at Ravenna runs until 30 June 2028, and he wears the number 22 shirt.
He came through at Bologna , joining the youth set-up in 2007 and playing for the Primavera side until 2011 without making a senior appearance.
The Reggiana years, from July 2019 through to the end of the 2022–23 season, brought 80 matches. He then joined Casertana in September 2023 and made 38 appearances in Serie C. His 2024–25 season at Gubbio, a return to a club he had played for as a young man, produced 37 league appearances and 14 clean sheets. A year at Arezzo followed, with 35 appearances, before the move back to Ravenna. Every one of those transfers — Casertana, Gubbio, Arezzo and Ravenna — was made on a free.
His one international appearance came in April 2012, when he came off the bench for Alessandro Iacobucci in Italy's 3–1 under-20 win over Denmark. He has never been capped at senior level.
