About the player
Between his first professional contract at ChievoVerona in the summer of 2012 and his departure from the club in 2019, Matteo Solini did not make a single senior league appearance for them.
He came to Chievo from the Inter Milan youth system in 2009, in a co-ownership deal valued at €300,000.
In July 2019 Solini signed a two-year contract with Como 1907, later extended, and this time stayed. He made 86 appearances and scored three goals over five seasons, and was part of two promotions, including the Serie C Group A title in 2020–21 that took the club into Serie B.
He left Como on a free transfer in July 2024 for Mantova, on a two-year deal, and scored twice in the 2024–25 season. He did not run his course either: in the summer of 2025 he moved on a free transfer to Ravenna, again signing for two years.
