About the player
Aske Leth Andrésen was seventeen when he went from academy goalkeeper to the Danish Superliga, thrown on against Aarhus after the first-choice keeper picked up an injury. It happened in his home city, against the club many of his youth teammates supported.
He had joined Silkeborg's academy at 13, having started out at Ry Fodbold in Aarhus. The step up did not stay a one-off: a first professional contract followed in the summer of 2023, and by May 2024 the club had tied him down until 2029. That same season brought the Danish Cup.
Andrésen has never needed a transfer to move his career forward — everything so far has come through progressing within the one club that developed him.
