Robin Dahl Østrøm

Robin Dahl Østrøm was born in Denmark, but a Norwegian father opened a different route into international football: after playing a single match for Denmark's under-19 side, he switched allegiance in 2021 and has since represented Norway at under-20 and under-21 level.

His path through the game started far from Silkeborg, in the Copenhagen suburbs. He came through AB Tårnby before moving to B.93, then joined Odense Boldklub's academy in 2020. The step up came fast: he made his Danish Superliga debut for OB that same year, against Esbjerg, still a teenager on the books of a top-flight club.

He spent two seasons in Odense before Silkeborg IF signed him in August 2022, and it is there that his career has taken firmer shape. Silkeborg rewarded him with a contract extension in December 2024, tying him to the club into 2028.

At international level, his form for Norway's under-21s has been the more sustained thread: over a dozen appearances and a couple of goals across several years, alongside a shorter run with the under-20s. Whether that development continues toward senior recognition remains to be seen.
