Bianneider Tamayo

Bianneider Tamayo signed with Universidad de Chile after a move from Caracas FC, a transfer that took a while to close before the Chilean club made it official. He made his official debut for the club on 23 September 2024 and later found the net in the Copa Chile against Magallanes, one of just four appearances he managed that season. His minutes at the club have been limited, and in 2025 he went out on loan to Unión Española, where he played 12 matches.

Before the move to Chile, Tamayo came through Caracas FC, where he made 16 league appearances and featured five times in the Copa Libertadores. His development had already been shaped by winning the Venezuelan under-20 national championship in consecutive years, 2021 and 2022, a run that marked him out early among his age group.

At youth international level, Tamayo has represented Venezuela's under-20 side, scoring against Peru at the South American Championship. In 2024 he received a call-up to the senior Venezuela squad for World Cup qualifying, though how much he played for the first team has not been confirmed.
