About the player
Bogdan Oteliță came through the academy at FCM Bacău before moving on to CSM Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț, where he made his senior debut in Liga III at just sixteen. Two seasons at CS Aerostar Bacău brought him twenty league appearances, and a subsequent free transfer to FC Gloria Buzău saw his workload grow further: 32 league matches and nine in the Romanian Cup over two years there.
Sepsi OSK signed the right-back on a free transfer in June 2023 after his contract at Gloria Buzău expired. He was handed a debut straight into a final, starting in the 2023 Romanian Super Cup against Farul on 8 July 2023.
Oteliță has not been capped by Romania's senior side, but he has featured for the age-group teams, with two appearances for the under-20s in 2023 and two more for the under-21s in 2024, including a substitute appearance against Montenegro in European Under-21 Championship qualifying.
