Breno Bidon

Breno Bidon grew up in São Paulo's youth football, moving through Portuguesa's academy before a short stint at Grêmio Osasco Audax and then joining Corinthians in 2019. His breakthrough moment came at the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior in 2024, where he was named the tournament's best player, a result that put him on the radar of the first team. He made his senior debut for Corinthians in March 2024 against Água Santa and followed it with his first appearance in the Brasileirão weeks later against Red Bull Bragantino. His first goal came in the Copa do Brasil against América-RN.

Injuries to Andre Carrillo and Raniele opened the door for Bidon in midfield, and he took the opportunity to become a regular in the side. Since then he has won the Copa do Brasil, the Campeonato Paulista and the Supercopa do Brasil with Corinthians. He has also represented Brazil at under-20 level, scoring once in his appearances for the age group.

Bidon's rise has drawn attention well beyond Brazil. Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Benfica and PSV have all been linked with the midfielder, while Flamengo made a concrete offer in January 2026, reportedly worth around €15 million, that Corinthians turned down in favour of keeping the door open for a move to Europe. In February 2026, the club extended his contract through 2029 and set a release clause of 100 million reais, reduced to €50 million for clubs outside Brazil. The following month, Bidon obtained Italian citizenship through his grandmother, a step that could smooth any future transfer to a European league.
