Cristian Daniel Arango Duque

Cristian Arango came up through the academy at Envigado FC and made his first-team debut there in March 2012. From that start in Colombian football, his path ran through Spain with Valencia's reserve side, then Portugal, where he wore the shirts of Benfica, Tondela and Aves, before he returned home to play for Millonarios.

His move to Los Angeles FC opened the most productive stretch of his career. Arango was part of the LAFC squad that won both the MLS Cup and the Supporters' Shield in 2022. That form led Mexican side CF Pachuca to pay LAFC 5.5 million euros for his signature. He later returned to MLS, turning out for Real Salt Lake and San José Earthquakes.

Arango has also worn the colours of the Colombian national team, debuting in a World Cup qualifier against Paraguay in November 2021.

In February 2026, Arango joined Atlético Nacional on loan, bringing him back to a club in his home city of Medellín. He has yet to add to his trophy collection there, with his time at the club still in its early stages.
