Caleb Roberts

Plymouth Argyle's academy took Caleb Roberts in at the age of six, and he stayed there through school, fitting his football around lessons at Ivybridge Community College before signing his first professional contract with the club in October 2022.

His first involvement with the first team came in the EFL Trophy, where he scored the winning goal against Charlton Athletic on 22 November 2022. A month later, on Boxing Day, he made his Championship debut off the bench against Cheltenham Town. Since then his opportunities at first-team level have been limited: by April 2026 he had made 29 appearances across all competitions for Plymouth, with that Charlton strike still his only goal, and just 208 minutes to his name in the Championship this season.

To get regular football, Plymouth sent him on loan to Truro City in February 2026 for the remainder of the campaign. The move yielded seven appearances, six in the league and one in the cup, without a goal or an assist, and Argyle recalled him from the loan the following month.

Roberts has yet to feature for England at any youth level, and no individual honours sit alongside his name.
