About the player
Mathias Ross Jensen picked up a Turkish championship medal without playing a single league minute for the club that won it. He signed for Galatasaray in the summer of 2022 for a fee of 1.75 million euros, and while the Istanbul side went on to take the Süper Lig title that season, his only involvement came in the Turkish Cup, where he appeared twice and scored once.
He had come through at AaB in his native Aalborg, making his debut for the Danish club in September 2018 and staying with them until the move to Turkey four years later. Regular football at Galatasaray never materialised.
In August 2025, with his contract at Galatasaray at an end, Ross Jensen joined Plymouth Argyle as a free agent, signing a three-year deal with the English club.
