About the player
Caroline Conti grew up playing in the Carolina Elite Soccer Academy before her performances earned her a call-up to a United States U14 training camp, an early sign of the technical ability that would carry her through college soccer. She spent five seasons, from 2019 to 2023, at Clemson, where she made 100 appearances and scored 27 goals for the Tigers — a return that marked her as one of the program's more productive attacking players over that stretch.
In 2022, while still at Clemson, Conti took a detour into the USL W League with Greenville Liberty SC. She finished as the club's top scorer that season and was named to the league's second all-star team, a strong showing in a competition often used by college players to sharpen themselves against senior opposition.
Conti turned professional in January 2024, when Bay FC selected her with the 34th overall pick in the NWSL draft. She signed with the club on 13 March 2024 and made her league debut just over a month later, on 20 April. Her first season in the NWSL was about establishing herself in a new environment; the breakthrough moment came the following year, on 13 April 2025, when she converted a penalty against the Chicago Stars for her first professional goal.
At Bay FC, Conti wears the number 23 and plays predominantly as a winger, though she has also been used further forward as a striker. Left-footed and known for directness on the ball, she remains, by her own club's early usage of her, a player still building her body of work at the top level of American women's soccer.
