Bay FC's goalkeeper spot has largely belonged to Jordan Silkowitz over the past two seasons, and the numbers back up the trust: 24 appearances in 2025, followed by 19 more in the current campaign, with six clean sheets and 23 goals conceded across that stretch. The league has noticed the shot-stopping in particular — Silkowitz has been named to the Save of the Week list four times, more than anyone else in the NWSL this season, and sits fifth in the league for total saves.

Penalties have been a strength too. Silkowitz has faced one spot-kick and stopped it, a perfect record that ranks second in the league among goalkeepers who have faced one. It is the kind of detail that does not show up in a highlight reel but matters to a coaching staff building a game plan around a keeper.

The path to Bay FC ran through Australia. Before establishing herself in the NWSL, Silkowitz spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Brisbane Roar, making 19 appearances in the A-League Women. That loan spell gave her a season of regular senior football away from home before she settled into the Bay FC goal.

International recognition has followed the club form, if not yet a full cap. Silkowitz featured once for the United States at Under-23 level in 2025, and has since been called into the senior national team setup twice, in November 2025 and again in January 2026, without yet making an appearance. Raised in Fairfax, Virginia, she wears the number 29 shirt at Bay FC and, at 1.83 metres, has the frame to match the shot-stopping numbers she has put up since arriving in the NWSL.
