Cassie Miller

Cassie Miller's route into professional football ran through the amateur circuit before it ever touched Europe. She played for Toronto Lady Lynx, Colorado Rush, Seattle Sounders Women and Chicago Red Stars Reserves in the mid-2010s. Hers led to the Netherlands, where she spent two seasons with PSV Eindhoven, then to Cyprus with Apollon Ladies FC.

She returned to the NWSL with Chicago Red Stars in 2020, and the moves since have followed a familiar pattern for a goalkeeper. Kansas City Current brought her in for $75,000 in allocation money in February 2022. Two years later, Gotham FC secured her for $70,000 in allocation money plus a further $30,000 intra-league transfer fee. In December 2024, Seattle Reign acquired her as part of a swap involving Jaelin Howell, adding $70,000 in allocation money and an international roster spot to close the deal.

At international level, her appearances have stayed at youth level. She played once for the United States' under-17 side in 2012, part of a squad that won the CONCACAF Under-17 Women's Championship and went on to the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Azerbaijan. She was also named to under-20 national team rosters between 2013 and 2017.

Across her NWSL spells she has made 15 appearances for Chicago Red Stars, 12 for Kansas City Current and 4 for Gotham FC, alongside 8 in the Netherlands with PSV Eindhoven. She now continues her career in Seattle.
