About the player
Edwin Martinez began his career in Deportivo Pereira's under-20 side in 2023 before moving into senior football with Inter Palmira the same year, where he stayed until 2025.
Real Cartagena signed him for the 2025–2026 campaign, and in January 2026 he joined Orsomarso as a free agent. On 1 July 2026 he signed with Jaguares de Córdoba on a contract running to 30 June 2027, his fourth move in as many years.
Born in Villavicencio, Martinez has yet to be called up to the Colombia national team.
