Esteban Santiago da Silva Álvarez

In his first year in the first team, in Uruguay's Segunda División Profesional in 2020, he played 20 matches and scored six goals.

The step up to the Primera División the following year proved harder. He made eight appearances in 2021 without scoring, a sharp contrast to the goals he had produced a division below. Along the way, in 2023, he put together his best scoring run for the club, reaching eight goals across the Torneo Apertura, the Torneo Intermedio and the Copa Sudamericana combined.

In 2024, da Silva moved to Racing Club de Montevideo on a contract running to the end of 2027.

Da Silva was named among an extended 29-player list called up for training with the Uruguay under-20 side in 2021, though there is no record of him featuring in an official match at that level.
