About the player
As part of Aspire Academy in Senegal, which he joined in 2012 through the Aspire Football Dreams programme, he was in the youth side that beat Real Madrid on penalties to win the 2014 Al Kass International Cup.
In 2015 he was part of the Golden Eaglets side that won the U-17 World Cup in Chile, playing five matches and scoring in the 2-0 final win over Mali, to go with three assists in the tournament. Two years later, with the Flying Eagles at U-20 level, he scored in qualifying against Sudan, though Nigeria failed to reach that World Cup. A senior call-up to the Super Eagles has not followed.
At Rapid București he scored eight goals in 51 appearances before a two-year contract at Hatayspor.
