Felipinho

Growing up in Boa Vista, Felipinho started out on the opposite side of the pitch from where he plays now. He came through the Extremo Norte-RR academy as a left-back, and it was only at 14, after joining São Raimundo-RR, that he moved into midfield. The switch stuck: his professional debut came in Série D in October 2020, and two months later he scored his first goal, one that helped São Raimundo-RR win the Roraima state title.

Ponte Preta signed him from São Raimundo's youth ranks in 2021, and it took a couple of seasons for him to establish himself. By 2023 he had become a fixture in the first team, winning the Campeonato Paulista Série A2 and finishing the Série B campaign as the competition's leading tackler, a mark of the ball-winning game that has defined his career.

That form took him to Athletico Paranaense in February 2024, in a deal worth 7.5 million reais for 70 per cent of his rights, on a contract running to the end of 2027. His first year at the club coincided with relegation to Série B, but Athletico bounced straight back to the top flight in 2025, and Felipinho was central to that campaign, finishing as one of the squad's most-used players and ranking fourth for minutes played over the season.

Along the way he has added a Campeonato Paranaense title to his collection, won with Athletico in 2024. He has not been called up to any Brazil national team.
