Franck Junior Evina

Franck Junior Evina came through the Bayern Munich academy, having joined the club's youth system in 2013, and worked his way up to two appearances for the first team between 2018 and 2020. Before that breakthrough, spells away from Munich shaped him: loans to Holstein Kiel and KFC Uerdingen 05 gave him regular football, with four goals in 14 appearances at Uerdingen standing out from that period.

A move to Hannover 96 in 2020 brought only two first-team appearances, and further development came instead through loans to Hannover's reserve side, where he scored 12 goals in 23 matches, and to Viktoria Berlin. He found more consistent form after signing for SV Sandhausen in December 2022, scoring five goals in 34 appearances there.

Evina's most productive spell came at FC Emmen, whom he joined in July 2024 on a two-year contract. He made 44 appearances for the Dutch club and scored 11 goals.

Internationally, Evina's path involved a change of allegiance. He represented Germany at under-18 level in 2017 before switching to represent Cameroon in November 2018 — a decision he said was inspired by Samuel Eto'o. He went on to play for Cameroon's under-23 side, scoring twice in three appearances, and earned his first senior cap on 9 October 2020 in a friendly against Japan that finished goalless.
