About the player
Franco Pardo came through the youth ranks at Belgrano before his career took him across three countries. A move to Estudiantes de Río Cuarto lasted barely a year before Chilean side Palestino signed him in 2022, and by the middle of 2023 he was back in Argentina with All Boys.
That spell was enough to attract Racing Club, who paid 1.3 million dollars for half of his rights in July 2025 and secured an option to buy the remainder outright for a further 750,000 dollars.
At Racing, Pardo made ten appearances and scored in the Copa Libertadores. The goal, in continental competition rather than the domestic league, stood out enough to help push through a move abroad: Santos Laguna signed him for 1.8 million euros on a contract running to 2030.
Pardo has yet to be called into the senior Argentina squad.
