Jhon Fredy Salazar Valencia

Jhon Fredy Salazar Valencia broke into professional football at Once Caldas in 2014, having come through the youth ranks at Club Deportivo Aranjuez. The move that shaped his early career came in 2016, when he was loaned out to Independiente Santa Fe. That spell brought silverware rather than minutes: Santa Fe won the Torneo Finalización to be crowned Colombian champions, and went on to lift the Copa Suruga Bank against Japan's Kashima Antlers. Salazar was on the books for that campaign but did not feature in the Suruga Bank final itself.

The years that followed were defined by movement rather than a settled home. Loans took him to Jaguares de Córdoba in 2017 and Deportivo Pereira in 2018, before a permanent switch to Patriotas Boyacá in 2019. He then found a longer run of stability at Águilas Doradas, where he stayed from 2020 through 2025.

A second title arrived in 2025 after his transfer to Junior de Barranquilla, who won that year's Torneo Finalización. From there, Salazar moved on loan to Atlético Bucaramanga, where he now wears the number 11 shirt as a forward.

There is no record of him having represented Colombia at senior international level.
