Gabriel Maurera

Gabriel Maureira grew up in Macul, a district of Santiago, and made his way through Colo-Colo's ranks to establish himself between the posts for the Chilean club. In August 2026 the club rewarded him with a new contract, extending his stay to 2029 and improving his terms — a vote of confidence that came alongside a season in which the goalkeeper was a regular fixture in the side.

Maureira has featured across all three fronts Colo-Colo compete on this year, appearing 17 times between the Campeonato Nacional, the Copa de la Liga and the Copa Chile. That spread of appearances points to a goalkeeper who has become a fixture rather than a squad option brought in for isolated fixtures.

He wears the number 25 shirt at Colo-Colo, the only club of his senior career so far. Gabriel Maureira has yet to add international recognition or silverware to his record, but the contract renewal and the volume of first-team football this season mark him out as a goalkeeper the club is building around for the years ahead.
