About the player
George Sorodoc is a Romanian midfielder, born in Botoșani. According to Transfermarkt, he joined the senior setup in 2024, while Soccer Base dates his first-team move to April 2025; either way, his rise to the first team has been recent, and the club tied him down with a contract running to the summer of 2028.
With limited senior minutes so far, Botoșani sent him out on loan in August 2025 to CSM Bucovina Rădăuți, a side playing in Romania's third tier, Liga III.
Sorodoc has not yet featured for Romania at any level, and no title, individual award or landmark goal is recorded in his career to date. His story so far is less about what he has already achieved and more about the path clubs are shaping for him: given a long-term deal, then loaned out to gain experience in senior football.
