About the player
Razvan Cretz built his footballing foundations in the academy of LPS Bihorul Oradea, where he stayed until 2022 before moving on to CS Lotus Băile Felix for the following season. The step up came through a loan spell at Minaur Baia Mare, where the defender was part of the squad that won the Liga III title in the 2024–25 season. That success came after a year with CSM Focșani in 2024, a stop that gave him further senior football before he settled at his current club.
At FC Botoșani, Cretz wears the number 5 shirt and has reached 31 appearances for the first team without registering a goal. His development has been mirrored at international level: he has represented Romania's under-20 side, appearing once for that age group.
Standing at 178 cm, Cretz has built his game on the defensive fundamentals learned through his early moves between Romanian lower-league sides.
