About the player
A loan spell at Santa Cruz in 2025 gave Jevani Soares 23 matches, five goals, and a Série D campaign that ended with the club as runners-up and promoted. The move cost Santa Cruz 250,000 reais, paid to Atlético Tubarão , which had bought his rights in August 2024.
Born in Maceió in 2000, Soares turned professional in 2021 and spent his first years moving between clubs in Brazil's lower divisions. Jaciobá in Alagoas, Itabaiana in Sergipe and Zumbi came in a single year; CSP in Paraíba followed in 2022. Later that year he joined Grêmio Prudente in São Paulo and won the state's Série A4 title.
In March 2026 Atlético Tubarão sent him to Atlético Goianiense , again on loan, this time for Série B. He played 23 league matches for the Dragão that season, scoring twice and setting up four more. He also appeared twice in the Copa do Brasil, providing one assist. No individual awards came his way during the spell in Goiás.
