Haitam Aleesami

Haitam Aleesami's career has taken him through eight countries, from Nordstrand IF and Skeid in his native Oslo to spells in Sweden, Italy, France, Russia and Cyprus, before a move to Bodø/Glimt in March 2025 brought him back to Norwegian football on a contract running until the end of 2027. The left-footed centre-back began at Skeid, where he was named the club's best young player in 2011, and moved on a free transfer to Fredrikstad the following year.

A switch to IFK Göteborg in 2014, and two years later a €1.4 million transfer took him to Palermo in Italy. Spells at Amiens in France and FC Rostov in Russia followed before he joined Apollon Limassol in 2021, where he won the Cypriot First Division title and, the following season, the Cypriot Super Cup. He returned to Oslo with KFUM-Kameratene in December 2023 before Bodø/Glimt brought him back into the Norwegian top flight.

Aleesami won 31 caps for Norway between 2015 and 2020. Across his club career he has made 413 appearances and scored 21 goals.
