Johan Esteban Beltrán Montano

Johan Esteban Beltrán Montano built his football education inside Once Caldas, working through the youth ranks before signing his first professional contract with the Manizales club in 2019. Colombian by birth, he plays as an attacking midfielder and favours his left foot.

The early break in his career came almost immediately: within months of turning professional, Once Caldas sent him out on loan to Vysočina Jihlava in the Czech Republic for the 2019/2020 campaign, a spell that gave him regular football far from home before he returned to Colombia.

Back at Once Caldas, Beltrán Montano grew into an attacking outlet rather than a squad player. His 2025 season stands out clearly from the rest of his record: 28 appearances and 16 goals, a return that marks him as one of the more productive midfielders at the club that year. Once Caldas remained his home for the best part of seven years, from 2019 through to 2026.

In July 2026, he moved on loan to Jaguares de Córdoba, a switch that opened a new chapter away from the club where he had spent his entire senior career to that point. No international recognition features on his record, and his career so far has been built without major honours or individual awards attached to his name.
