Jiang Wenhao

Jiang Wenhao is a left-back who came through Beijing Guoan's own academy, breaking into the senior side in November 2020. Rather than a single breakthrough season, his career has followed a pattern of loans away from the capital and returns to it: a spell at Guangxi Pingguo Haliao brought 12 appearances before he came back to Beijing Guoan in January 2023 and made 15 more. A further loan took him to Changchun Yatai for six months, where he played six matches, then it was back to Beijing Guoan again for a run of nine appearances.

That loan-and-return cycle has continued, with Jiang currently out at Shaanxi Union, where he has made ten appearances. Left-footed and comfortable in the full-back role, he has never been capped by the Chinese national team, but he does have a major honour to his name: he won the Chinese FA Cup with Beijing Guoan in 2025.

None of his transfers have carried a disclosed fee, reflecting a career built on loan moves rather than permanent switches, and each spell away from Beijing Guoan has been followed by a return to the club that developed him.
