About the player
He began at amateur side Åsum BK in 2021, moved on to Ifö Bromölla IF for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, then joined Kristianstad FC in 2024, where he made 25 appearances, scored three goals and set up four more from the back. In August 2025 Västerås SK signed him for their Superettan squad.
The move came with a twist: rather than joining up in Västerås straight away, Lundqvist was loaned back out to Hässleholms IF to finish out the 2025 season before reporting to his new club. He plays as a right-back.
Lundqvist has been called up to Sweden's under-19 squad, appearing in four matches during European Championship qualifying.
