Juan Franco

Juan Franco left Deportivo Cali having gone through the club's own ranks, and he took the club's biggest prize with him: the 2023 Colombian championship, the tenth in Cali's history. He was named among the squad's homegrown players in that campaign, a distinction the club marked publicly when he eventually moved on. Across three seasons in Cali's first team he was a regular fixture in defence rather than a peripheral figure, featuring in a dozen matches or more each year.

He signed for Deportivo Pasto as a free agent in July 2024, a move that came without a transfer fee attached. His playing time there tailed off, from eleven appearances in his first season to five in the second, before he again left as a free agent, this time for Jaguares de Córdoba in July 2026.

At Jaguares, where he wears the number four shirt, Franco has made four appearances so far. Born in Cali, he has built his career entirely within Colombian football, moving between three clubs without ever attaching a transfer fee to his signature.
