Kristoffer Velde

Kristoffer Velde made his name at FK Haugesund, the club in his home city of Haugesund, where he spent five seasons between 2017 and 2021, contributing 27 goals in 119 appearances across all competitions. A brief loan spell at Nest-Sotra in 2019 was cut short before he ever featured for the side.

His move abroad came in January 2022, when Lech Poznań signed him for around €1.1 million. In Poland he played over two and a half seasons, scoring 29 goals in 98 matches. He added 6 goals in 33 appearances during his time in Piraeus.

In August 2025, Velde crossed the Atlantic, joining Portland Timbers for a fee of $5 million. He has scored 6 goals in 29 matches for the club so far.

At international level, Velde won his first cap for Norway on 20 June 2023, coming off the bench in a 3-1 win over Cyprus in qualifying for Euro 2024. He was not included in Norway's final squad for that tournament, and that substitute appearance against Cyprus remains his only senior cap to date. Earlier in his career, he represented Norway at under-18 and under-19 level, scoring once in two appearances.
