Kener Arce's career has run almost entirely through Ecuador's provincial and lower-division sides, with two Serie B titles as its clearest mark. He won the first in 2021 with Cumbayá, and repeated it two years later with Macará, a club he represented across two separate spells. Neither medal came with individual fanfare attached in the record — no caps for the national team appear among his facts — but the pair of promotions frame a career built on steady, unspectacular defensive work rather than a single breakout moment.

Arce's path started at Espoli, where he stayed for roughly five years before a string of shorter stints: a season at Olmedo, three at Liga de Loja, one at Fuerza Amarilla, then two at Independiente del Valle. That sequence of one- and two-year spells has defined the rest of his career too, taking in Cumbayá, Manta and Vargas Torres before his move this year to Técnico Universitario, in Ambato, where he wears number 30.
