About the player
Mačva Šabac is where Kristijan Tojčić has come back to. He first joined the Šabac club in July 2021 on a free transfer from Bosnia and Herzegovina, played a single season there and scored four goals. In 2026, he returned.
Before any of that came Zvijezda 09, where he spent five seasons from 2016. He captained the side and won the Prva Liga Republike Srpske in 2017/18. Bijeljina-born, of Serbian descent, he holds Bosnian citizenship; at 191 cm he is used mainly as a centre-back, though he has also been fielded as a defensive midfielder.
The move to Javor Ivanjica in July 2022, again on a free, brought two seasons and relegation from the Serbian SuperLiga. He left in June 2024 for Slovenia and NK Nafta 1903.
What followed was unusual in its pace. In June 2025 he signed for second-tier Železničar Pančevo on a two-year contract; before the year was out he had gone to Iraq, to Newroz SC.
He has no senior international caps, for Bosnia and Herzegovina or for Serbia.
