About the player
At 193 cm, Blagojević is an unusual shape for a left-back, and it is the left flank that Mačva Šabac signed him to fill. He arrived in June 2026 on a free transfer from Zvijezda 09, ahead of a SuperLiga season.
The stretch that made him worth signing came at Radnik Surdulica. He joined in February 2025 and scored three goals in ten matches as the club won the Prva Liga and went up to the SuperLiga.
Before that, the route had been less direct. He came through FK Zemun and moved to the Red Star Belgrade academy in 2019, where he was part of the youth side that reached the quarter-finals of the 2018–19 UEFA Youth League, then a club record at that level. He never played for the Red Star first team. Loans to Grafičar Beograd and Novi Pazar followed in 2020–21, and he scored once for each. Blagojević has since described his time in the lower tiers as a "career reset" after failing to break through at Red Star.
Spells at Radnički 1923, Rad and Omladinac Novi Banovci filled the years in between, the last of them running from 2023 to early 2025.
His international record belongs to the earlier period: five caps and a goal for Serbia at under-17 level, two more at under-19, all between 2018 and 2019. He has not been capped by the senior side.
