L. Molina Canto

Lucas Molina Cantó scored for Ñublense on 20 February 2026, converting in the second minute of stoppage time away at Unión La Calera to seal a 1-0 win.

Molina is a product of the Ñublense academy in Chillán and has never worn another club's shirt. He worked his way through the youth ranks before breaking into the first team in August 2022, and has stayed at the club ever since, now operating as a left-sided midfielder or winger.

His first goal for the senior side came in 2025, against Palestino, and he has added occasional strikes since without becoming a prolific scorer — three in the league across his time in the first team, with a further two already this season. He has yet to win a title with the first team; Ñublense's promotion from the second division came while he was still playing in the youth sides.

A spell out injured kept him sidelined from 8 December 2025 until 1 February 2026, and he returned to full training in time to score the winner at Unión La Calera weeks later. At youth international level, he was named on Chile's provisional list for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2025.
