Lucas Piton

Vasco da Gama paid around 16.6 million reais — roughly three million euros — for 60 per cent of Lucas Piton's economic rights in December 2022, leaving the other 40 per cent with Corinthians. The deal was announced on 28 December.

He had joined the Corinthians academy in 2016. Between the 2019 debut and his exit, he played somewhere in the region of 81 to 106 matches across all competitions for Corinthians, scoring twice and setting up 11 goals. No major silverware came of it. The closest was the 2022 Copa do Brasil, where Corinthians reached the final and lost it.

Presented at Vasco in January 2023, Piton took the left-back position and kept it: 37 Serie A appearances in his first season, plus ten in the Carioca state championship. In February 2024 the club extended his contract to December 2028. By November 2025 he had made 152 appearances for Vasco with eight goals and 26 assists, part of a career total of 258 matches, ten goals and 36 assists.

Piton holds Italian citizenship alongside his Brazilian passport, and in May 2023 that put his name on a preliminary Italy squad list. He did not make the final selection and has not played for Italy. He has not been capped by Brazil either.
