Marcelo Eggel arrived at Palestino in 2026 on loan from Argentina's Deportivo Maipú, with an option to buy attached to the deal.
Eggel made his first senior impression at Juventud Unida Universitario, where he played 33 matches and scored three goals across the 2020–2021 seasons.
