About the player
At Palestino, Nicolás Meza came up through the club's own academy rather than arriving through a transfer. He joined the professional squad in September 2020.
The breakthrough came the following year. Meza made his first-team debut on 22 June 2021 in a Copa Chile match against Barnechea, and just over a month later, on 1 August 2021, he stepped into the Primera División for the first time, in a league fixture against Unión Española.
Alongside his domestic football, he has also featured in continental competition, making 13 appearances in the Copa Sudamericana, and has 18 appearances total in cup competitions.
