About the player
Madison Curry was still at Princeton when Angel City FC picked her at No. 51 overall in the 2024 NWSL Draft. That first professional season produced 22 appearances, a goal and an assist — but the number that stood out was defensive: Curry was the only player in the league to record at least 70 tackles and 45 duels won in 2024.
Before turning professional, Curry built her reputation at Princeton, where she made First Team All-Ivy League in three straight seasons. She also spent summers in the semi-professional ranks, playing for Kansas City Current II in 2022 and SoCal Reds FC in 2023.
In December 2024, OL Reign signed the defender to a deal running through the end of the 2027 season.
