About the player
Maksym Bragaru came through Chornomorets' academy in Odesa before breaking into the first team in 2019.
The move that changed his career came in the summer of 2024, when he joined Dynamo Kyiv as a free agent. He won the Ukrainian championship with Dynamo in his first season and reached the final of the Ukrainian Cup. In September 2025 he was loaned out to Polessya for the season with an option to buy, and by the end of the campaign the Zhytomyr club had exercised that option, tying him down to a contract running to 2029.
Bragaru's rise has run in parallel through the Ukraine youth and Olympic set-ups. With the Olympic team he went to the Paris Games in 2024 and, that same year, won the Toulon Tournament.
