Oleg Kudryk

Oleg Kudryk's professional debut in Ukraine's top flight came on 31 May 2017, in a 1-1 draw against an opponent, when he was still a product of Shakhtar Donetsk's academy. He later described a goal he conceded in the 23rd minute of that match as a mistake that overshadowed the occasion. He had joined Shakhtar's youth system in January 2012 after starting out at his hometown club Lviv's academy, and rose through the U-19 and U-21 ranks before breaking into the first team.

His time at Shakhtar brought silverware even if first-team opportunities were limited: three Ukrainian league titles, three domestic cups and a Super Cup, all won between 2016 and 2019. To gain regular football, he moved on loan to Karpaty Lviv, then joined Mariupol, where he made 32 appearances over two seasons.

Kudryk has been with Polessya since 2022 and has made more than 41 appearances for the club. Polessya won the First League in the 2022/23 season, and the team finished third in the Ukrainian top flight in 2025/26. He is now part of the squad competing in the UEFA Conference League in the 2026/27 season.

He has not been capped by Ukraine's senior national side, though he was included in the U-19 squad in 2015 without making an appearance. In 2024, he was awarded the title of Master of Sport of Ukraine.
