In January 2025 Marlon reached 100 appearances for Novorizontino . By later that year the count had passed 126, making him the fourth most-used player in Novorizontino's history, behind Cléo Silva, Reverson and Willian Lepo. He arrived on a free transfer, presented on 7 December 2022 with a contract that began on 1 January 2023.

Marlon Adriano Prezotti, born in Curitiba, built the middle of his career in the state and second-tier game. He won the Rio Grande do Sul second division with Caxias in 2016, then the Maranhão state title with Sampaio Corrêa in 2017, scoring six goals in 32 matches there.

He played 93 matches over three seasons and won Série B in 2018, the Copa do Nordeste in 2019 and back-to-back Ceará state championships in 2019 and 2020. A transfer to Ceará followed, 51 matches across two seasons, but 2022 went badly: he managed only 13 or 14 games and later described that year as the worst of his career. A short spell at Juventude brought ten more appearances before the move to Novorizontino.

Since then he has been a fixture rather than a squad option. He converted a penalty against Sport Recife in 2024, and scored in the Copa Paulista play-off shoot-out against São Paulo . In 2025 he has four goals and two assists in 29 matches, which for a midfielder listed at 175 cm is a healthy return. His career total sits at roughly 238 league matches and 16 goals.
