About the player
Michał Perchel pulled off a stunning save from the penalty spot against ŁKS last season. He came through the academy at Karpaty Krosno, joining in 2021 and making his first-team debut in October 2022.
Perchel signed for Puszcza Niepołomice as a free agent in the summer of 2024. His first season at the club came in the Ekstraklasa, where he made four appearances. Puszcza's relegation to the I liga changed that: he became first-choice goalkeeper, started close to thirty matches and kept seven clean sheets. He was known for his consistency, his handling of one-on-one situations and his reflexes.
Perchel signed a contract running to 2029, with an option for a further year, and was handed the number 1 shirt.
He has represented Poland at youth level, appearing for the under-18s — including a match against Switzerland — before stepping up to the under-19s for European Championship qualifiers against the Faroe Islands, Slovenia and Azerbaijan, as well as friendly tournaments.
