About the player
Musab Abdi Mohamud came through Västerås SK's youth system from the age of 12, working his way up through every age group before breaking into the first team. He signed his first professional contract with the club in February 2025, formalising a progression built entirely within the academy rather than through a move from elsewhere.
His senior debut came on 24 February 2025, when he was brought on as a substitute against Skövde AIK. For a player who had spent years working through the club's junior ranks, the appearance marked the point where that development finally showed up on the first-team teamsheet.
