About the player
After stints with Atlético Baleares and Getafe's reserve side, then Recreativo , the forward left Spain in 2025 for Romania, joining FC Argeș Pitești in the top flight. The move that changed things came that September, when Heras signed for Sepsi OSK Sfântu Gheorghe , then playing in Romania's second tier after relegation. What followed was the best sustained scoring run of his career. Heras became Sepsi's leading forward, finishing the season with 16 goals and standing out as the club's top scorer on the way to a second-place finish in the promotion play-offs, which sent Sepsi back up to Liga I. The Romanian Football Federation recognised the campaign by naming him to the Liga II Dream Team. Heras has since started life back in the top division with Sepsi.
