About the player
A move to Holstein Kiel followed, and in the 2021/22 season he made a single appearance for the club's first team in the 2. Bundesliga.
His path changed shape at Preußen Münster, which he joined as a free agent in the summer of 2022. He was part of the squad that won the Regionalliga West title in 2022/23 and went straight up into the 3. Liga, then helped the club reach the 2. Bundesliga with direct promotion in 2024. That April he scored his first career brace, against FC Viktoria Köln, and he went on to make his 100th appearance for Münster in May 2026, against SV Darmstadt.
Preußen Münster's stay in the 2. Bundesliga ended in relegation that same month, but Koulis stayed on. He extended his contract and, in August 2026, was named club captain for the 2026/27 season.
