About the player
Pan Ximing's career took him a long way from home before he settled into the Chinese domestic game. After starting out in Changchun Yatai's youth ranks and getting his senior football in on loan at Shaanxi Laochenggen, the centre-back moved to Portugal in August 2014, joining Gondomar S.C. in the Campeonato de Portugal. The following year he stepped up a level, signing for Leixões S.C. in the Segunda Liga before he returned to China.
Back on home soil from January 2016, he joined Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League, and two years later signed a four-year contract with Tianjin Quanjian. Before a move to Meizhou Hakka in 2023, he stayed at Hebei FC from 2020 until 2022. He is now with Shenyang Urban, wearing the number 3 shirt as a right-footed centre-back.
Across his league career he has made 177 appearances, adding nine matches in the national cup and one in the league cup, for a combined total of 187 games. He has scored five goals in that time, four of them in the league and one in the league cup.
