About the player
Paulo Victor came through Nova Iguaçu's academy before a loan move took him to Botafogo, who made the deal permanent in 2021 for a 50% stake in his economic rights. Within weeks the club sold a quarter of those rights to Internacional, and it was there that his career took shape, with two loan spells doing much of the heavy lifting: at Vasco da Gama and then at Ceará, where he helped the side win the Campeonato Cearense.
Internacional kept him on the books until 2024, when he left Brazil for Portuguese football, joining Farense. He moved on again in 2025, signing for Santa Clara.
The transfer fee was not disclosed.
He has yet to receive a call-up to the Brazil national team.
