About the player
Ramon's career started at home, in the academy of Bahia de Feira, where he broke into the first team in 2013. Vitória signed him, and it was there that he grew into a regular in the back line.
Cruzeiro took him on next, and across two seasons there he added five goals to his defensive game. A move to Atlético Goianiense followed in 2022, where he won back-to-back Campeonato Goiano titles, interrupted by a loan to CRB in 2023. He then joined Ceará in 2024, winning the Campeonato Cearense in both of his seasons there before a transfer to Sport Recife in July 2025 for a fee of around €154,000. At Sport he added a Campeonato Pernambucano title to his collection this year.
Ramon has now joined Goiás on loan from Sport Recife, wearing the number 4 shirt for the rest of the season. Across his career he has settled into a pattern: a defender who wins regional silverware wherever he lands, moving from state to state without ever staying idle for long. He has not been called up to the Brazil national team.
